At St Margaret’s this is what we are striving to achieve.
Our Vision
We are an inclusive school and celebrate the uniqueness and differences of every one of our pupils.
Our vision for our children is that they will feel loved, nurtured and have the opportunity to grow into happy, healthy, kind, curious and confident children who ask questions, assess their own learning and take informed risks.
St Margaret’s children will thrive as inquisitive individuals through being supported in developing an enquiring mind and setting themselves challenging goals. They will be intrigued, excited and motivated by new learning both within and out with school.
They will care for each other and show kindness to all. They will be honest when they have made a mistake and be willing to fix it. They will take pride in their school, themselves and the relationships they build, eager to come to school every day, on time, ready to listen, learn and engage in learning.
The children, staff and families in our school community will feel empowered to contribute to the life and learning of the school, leading them towards positive destinations within their community and beyond.
Our Values
Our school values, which are linked to our Positive Relationships Policy, are the values that outline the expectations, all interactions and communications between children, adults and the whole school community. Following consultation in Nov 2019 our chosen values are:

Our Aims
Developing Children’s Learning Powers!
At St Margaret’s it is our aim that all children are equipped with the skills and attributes to be successful in their learning. We will achieve this through the relationships we build with children and families, our curriculum and its rationale, our response to daily learning experiences and opportunities and by planning creatively and with imagination.
We will support children to grow and develop these attributes, dispositions and power:
